Rob & Alison Watson
Rob & Alison Watson spent two years involved in independent overseas ministry in the Far East church planting in Hong Kong. They returned to the UK after ill heath forced repatriation. They have heart to see overseas Christian workers get the best when facing change, the need for debriefing or renewal.
Since their return from Asia for a time Rob returned to secular employment working in senior management in the construction industry before returning to full time Christian ministry in 2002 they moved to East Sussex to be in church leadership in a local community church in Eastbourne (Langney Community Church).
Rob has an Applied Theology degree (through Moorlands College) and has gifts in teaching and worship leading and pastoral care whilst Alison has a degree in Counselling (through CWR and Roehampton University) with gifts in pastoral care, counselling and hospitality.
Alison has a private counselling practise and helps a local counselling and advice centre with their work. Where time allows she also likes to be creative in the kitchen and with various media in art.
Rob’s main work surrounds Langney Community Church in Eastbourne where he has been pastor for 10 years and when he can gets into the garden with his spade and fork to grow some veg, walk the families 11 year old golden retriever Tizer or cycle on the local cycle ways!
Both Rob & Alison are trained debriefers with People in Aid and Le Rucher in Geneva.
